Linda Fallwell Stover is the former (retired) Executive Director for the Coastal Bend Center for Independent Living (CBCIL) in Corpus Christi, TX serving twelve counties in the Coastal Bend Region. CBCIL is a cross-disability, consumer controlled, nonresidential, independent non-profit organization. CBCIL Board of Directors and staff are predominantly individuals with disabilities uniquely positioned to “assist people with disabilities to achieve their goals”. Ms. Fallwell Stover manages an annual budget of approximately four million dollars with multiple funding streams. Under her leadership, CBCIL is engaged in a number of individual efforts and collaborative partnerships with a goal of ensuring equity for people with disabilities in their communities. Ms. Fallwell Stover remains active in support of the Coastal Bend Advocacy Development Project working with people with disabilities and their allies to strengthen local, regional and national advocacy efforts by focusing on advocacy skills and team building. Ms. Fallwell Stover is a certified mediator and trainer.
